I recently came across the world of "Eddie's Angels" through a mutual friend and fellow actress/filmmaker. As I've stated before, I love makeup and beauty products, and it is a large part of what I do. On Memorial Day Weekend, Eddie had a blowout sale and I took full advantage, of course.
Items pictured above are as followed:
- three tubes of Quattro Variable Lash Mascara
- Ultra Definition Eye Lining Stylus
- Graffiti Creme Eye Pencil
- Luxlight Luminator
- Hyperreal Hydrating Lipgloss in "Girl Gone Bad"
- Hyperreal Nourishing Lipcolor in "Rumor"
First, I want to say that the price for everything was right to begin with, but Eddie was also having a blowout sale, adding to the fact that I also had a coupon code. As an added bonus, there's free shipping if you live in the U.S. and your purchase is over $25.00. Because of this, I ended up getting a $75 value for just under $36! Score.
So I did two different looks with the makeup, and here were the results (no filters!). For both, I'm using Eddie's makeup combined with other brands.

'Natural Look'
So for this look, I used the following of Eddie's makeup:
1.) "Girl Gone Bad" Hyperreal Hydrating Lip gloss
2.) Graffiti Creme Eye Pencil
3.) Luxlight Luminator
4.) Quattro Variable Lash Mascara (set to #3)
'A Little More Glam'
1.) "Rumor" Hyperreal Nourishing Lip color
2.) "Girl Gone Bad" Hyperreal Hydrating Lip gloss
3.)Luxlight Luminator
4.) Quattro Variable Lash Mascara (#1, 2, 3, and 4)
5.) Ultra Definition Eyelining Stylus
After a couple weeks of using the makeup, here are my thoughts. One of my favorite makeup brands is the Besame cosmetics line. Besame is a company that focuses creating makeup inspired by bygone times (their timeline spans from 1910s to 1970). And yes, I will be reviewing Besame soon too!
As of now, my favorite lip color by Besame is "1930 Noir Red" and I doubted I would ever find one even remotely close to it. However, I gave Eddie's Hyperreal "Rumor" lip color a try and I will say that I have indeed found another favorite. Like Besame, the texture is absolutely lovely and smoothly glides on. I also love the "Girl Gone Band" gloss. Major kudos to Eddie for doing a great job with cosmetic formulas.
As for the eyeliner, like the lip color, the texture is lovely and luxurious and does not rub off. I go for the Creme Graffiti if I want a thicker line, and the Ultra Definition Stylus is great if you prefer a liquid liner (for days when you want to do that vintage cat eye look!).
If you want a waterproof mascara, the Quattro Variable Lash mascara has some serious staying power. One issue I often have with mascara is that by the end of the day, it is usually flaking off. Not Eddie's mascara, though. In fact, if you put multiple layers on, it's almost a struggle to get it off! It also does some serious plumping to your lashes and has a little knob on the lid. The knob allows you to adjust just how thick you want your lashes to be, from not so thick (#1) to very thick (#4). I tend to use #3. And no flaking here! This has become my favorite mascara, by far.
And I love the Luxlight Luminator. I really think it gives you just enough
shimmer without being over the top, leaving a rather glowy finish.
All in all, Eddie has a new devotee and I will be purchasing more in the near future. My next mission is to get my hands on the Luxlight Glow Drops, and give his Chromographic Eye Gloss a try.
I recommend definitely giving the makeup a try, especially if you like fun, creative, and higher end product that isn't too spendy.
Check out Eddie's website and if you sign up for the mailing list, you not only get updates on deals and new products, but a welcome coupon code. :)
